Malaysia's police force will start issuing fines for unvaccinated individuals caught crossing the states, as announced by the government today.
Stern action through a thorough inspection in public places, especially Rest and Rehabilitation (R&R) centres and other crowded areas will be imposed, as informed by the Bukit Aman Department of Internal Security and Public Order (KDNKA) director Datuk Hazani Ghazali. This is to ensure non- vaccinated individuals are not taking advantage of the new interstate travel relaxation announced by the government.
Warnings will no longer be given to those found guilty of the offence, as the police will be much more assertive in handling cases of SOP disobedience, says Datuk Hazani.
Looks like anti-vaxxers are running out of loopholes to escape getting vaccinated.
