Oops- it's unfortunate for Malaysian Communications & Multimedia Commission (MCMC) when Twitter rejected its tweet removal requests.
I'm very angry this morning. I received a DM from someone: He got an email from Twitter Legal because MCMC said his tweet violates Malaysian law.

Tweet tu mengkritik kepimpinan kerajaan. Sempat eh time darurat nak sakit hati dengan rakyat? Would appreciate advise pls thx
Apparently, MCMC was trying hard to remove tweets criticising the government's flood response by some livid Twitter users. One such user is @BadBoy2662, whom received an email from Twitter to inform about the requests.

However, Twitter has not taken any action on the reported content. Twitter advised the user to take appropriate action and protect his interest, including seeking legal counsel or voluntarily deleting the content.
Other Twitter users have also received similar notices from Twitter after MCMC lodged several more reports.

Here's a throwback to one of MCMC's controversial tweets, earlier this year. MCMC later explained that the offensive tweets were old ones that belonged to the account previous owner.
Netizens are advised to be polite & courteous when sharing their thoughts online to avoid legal actions.
