ICYMI: The 'Thai Cave Rescue' Crew Gives Heartfelt Tribute To Beam
The world banded together in 2018 to watch anxiously and ultimately with relief as a dozen boys from youth soccer team the Wild Boars and their coach were rescued from a flooded cave in Northern Thailand. Now, the saga that captivated the globe is headed to Netflix in the limited series Thai Cave Rescue.
The untold perspectives of the boys on the team will take center stage in the new series, which follows their trip to the Tham Luang caves as it turns from a fun adventure into a massive and critical rescue operation.
Filmed entirely in Thailand by an international group of filmmakers – including showrunners and creators Michael Russell Gunn and Dana Ledoux Miller (Designated Survivor); the series will unravel the boys' stories, and those of their families, over the course of six episodes.
