Malaysian songstress, Ara Johari, was left shaken following a traumatic encounter with a crazed fan.

Opening up about the harrowing incident via her Instagram stories, Ara had just finished performing in Nilai when a “fan” suddenly approached her for a selfie.

She happily fulfilled the request, not expecting that the man would linger near her entourage to ask for a handshake next.

Again, she complied, although a feeling of anxiousness began to creep in due to the man’s suspicious demeanour. 

The third time around, he unexpectedly held out a fist bum to Ara’s PA, before inching yet again towards her.

Taking advantage of her gesture, he pulled her hand instead and began to aggressively kiss it not once, but twice. 

Horrified over the aggresion, Ara hit his back as he attempted to ditch the scene. 

Thinking he could escape, several kind samaritans alas managed to apprehend him when they heard her screaming for help.

Despite her brush with harassment, Ara gathered her strength to speak up. She also extended her gratitude to those who had swiftly helped her, including the police for arresting the man. 

According to their findings, his phone gallery was shockingly full of selfies taken with female celebrities.
