A 27-year-old man from Wyoming, USA has been accused of murdering 2-year-old Athian Rivera in a horrendous crime.
Wyatt Dean Lamb has been accused of burning Rivera's genitals with a blowtorch and dumping his incinerated corpse in a garbage bin just outside's the child's mother's apartment. If Lamb is found guilty of the murder, he could face the death penalty.
According to the post-mortem records, forensics found "scattered blunt force injuries" all over Rivera's body, including multiple contusions, abrasions, and burn marks on his genitals, upper legs, and groin area. The cause of death? Brain swelling caused by blunt force trauma, restriction of oxygen, or both. Evidently, little Rivera suffered unimaginable and excruciating pain before his death.
The motive behind the murder is currently unknown, and Lamb has pleaded not guilty to the case.
