After Lee Zii Jia's decision to leave the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM), yesterday (Jan 21) the association proceeded to ban the national player from competing in any World Badminton Federation-sanctioned tournament for a period of two years.

His move to leave the association invited the attention of many worldwide, including world no.1 Danish badminton player Viktor Axelson.
Disappointed, enraged and downright dissatisfied, netizens like Axelson have since been in 100% support of Lee Zii Jia and the injustices faced by him as an athlete of the nation.
