Remember this athlete? He gained international attention last Paralympics for his unwavering resilience on the field, and of course, for the wholesome moment he shared with Greek Paralympian Thanasis Prodromou that once blew up the internet.

The Perlis-born athlete, Datuk Latif Romly just recently received the Panglima Mahkota Wilayah (PMW) medal which carries the title 'Datuk'. His glistening success in winning the Paralympic Games gold in the long jump (T20) event enabled the national athlete to be recognized at the Federal Territory Order of Merit, Star, and Medal Awarding Ceremony.
Latif won Malaysia's third gold medal in the men's T20 long jump event at the Tokyo Olympic Stadium, last year, and he repeated a similar victory at the same event in Rio 2016.
A well-deserved award, for sure! On behalf of Goody MY, we wish to extend our congratulations to Datuk Latiff Ramly for his latest milestone!
