Neelofa, the celebrity entrepreneur behind Nilofa Group, recently promoted a new womens health drink, Isterix, on her Instagram account. The promotional content, featuring suggestive imagery, quickly caught the attention of netizens and sparked widespread backlash.

The advertisement included an image of a peach, which many criticized for resembling female genitalia, and many more having inappropriate double meanings. 

Netizens expressed disappointment, questioning the appropriateness of such marketing tactics, especially given Neelofa's image as a hijab and niqab-wearing public figure.

Critics argued that the advertisements failed to respect societal sensitivities regarding intimate topics, which are often considered taboo in the community. Many felt the approach was in poor taste and did not align with Neelofas public persona.

Following the controversy, Nilofa Group responded with a public apology on their Instagram account. They acknowledged the oversight, stating, "Isterix apologizes for certain graphics produced. We accept all feedback and recognize this error. Moving forward, we will be more mindful of community sensitivities in creating more appropriate content."

The posts have since been taken down, as the company aims to address the concerns of their audience and avoid similar issues in the future.
