Being the mid of the year and perfect time for that summer weather, weddings are thriving!
Which is why when we heard that well-known Malaysian actor & Youtuber, Sean Lee tied the knot with his gorgeous influencer, business owner girlfriend Bay Doucet over the weekend, we were tuned in.
Never known to be too public with their relationship, the wedding caught the attention of many Malaysians when it hit the internet.
Taking importance in simple celebrations and moments in their life, here's 5 gorgeous reasons why Sean & Bay's wedding was nothing short of perfection:
1. The cutest table set up
Documented by their guests and shared on Instagram by Bay herself, the table set up included almost everything handwritten or drawn. From their place cards to the menu, the couple took time to curate everything. For door gifts, they provided 'minyak angin', matches for scented candles and even a hand fan because phewww this weather!
2. The customised disposable film cameras
The couple provided some of their guests with disposable film cameras so that they may document the wedding night for them in their own manner. To quote Bay "can't wait to see the wedding through their eyes!". The camera covers were also customised and drawn by Bay herself, the night before the wedding- call that dedication and attention to aesthetics!
3. The "No pre-wedding photoshoot? No problem."
Just like any wedding where there's usually a display of pre-wedding photos, Bay and Sean had a display of their own! Since the entirety of their relationship had been very private, they decided that their pre-wedding photos were going to be years of content that no one has seen before and this was displayed as a wall of memories during their celebration.
4. The CAKE!
Shared via X (@shazwan_r), using 5 kgs of strawberries, The Buttercake Factory imported the fruit from the US for Sean and Bay's wedding cake. Said to be one of the biggest cakes they've done, this would be the 'designer size' amounting to RM2,500. However, one fun fact was that they had no idea who was the wedding cake for all along, only until all the guests started posting it!
5. The tiny details in the wedding celebration
Shared by the lovely couple on Instagram, the celebration of their love most definitely had the prettiest elements that you can tell even over a screen that it was well thought of, and captured the essence of their relationship in a way only they can. Nothing too fancy, but more so amplifying all the simplicities of their relationship.
