Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) has earned a place among the worlds top 10 airports in the 2024 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey for airports handling over 40 million passengers annually.
Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) announced that KLIA achieved an impressive score of 4.99 out of 5, as evaluated by the Airports Council International (ACI). This recognition highlights KLIAs commitment to providing an outstanding passenger experience.
A Benchmark for Airport Excellence
The ASQ survey is a globally recognized program that measures passenger satisfaction across various key aspects, including safety, service quality, facilities, and cleanliness. MAHB emphasized that this achievement reinforces KLIAs status as a leading international aviation hub.
MAHB attributed the airports success to several enhancements, such as a welcoming atmosphere, expanded seating areas, improved charging stations, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Additionally, the survey found that passengers particularly appreciated the airports cleanliness, especially in its washrooms, contributing to an overall positive travel experience.
Consistent Excellence and Future Commitment
Malaysia Airports Managing Director, Dato Mohd Izani Ghani, highlighted KLIAs consistent ranking in the ASQ top 10 since 2022 as a testament to its dedication to continuous improvement.
"KLIA's strong performance reflects our focus on enhancing the airport experience through innovative solutions and improved facilities. We also thank KLIA's dedicated airport community and stakeholders who are the driving force behind our progress," he stated.
As KLIA continues to enhance its facilities and services, this latest achievement serves as motivation for further elevating passenger satisfaction and maintaining its position as one of the worlds best airports.
