Mistreating people who are doing honest work, now that’s a new level of low- especially coming from university students.
For this elderly taxi driver, an encounter with a sweet passenger led him to open up about his heartbreaking plight.
In a video posted by the woman, the uncle expressed his frustration over being scammed by university students, whereby many of them shamelessly pretended to scan the QR code but never paid the actual fares.
Sadly, he only realized their tactic after dropping them off, to which he sighed; “They only pretended to scan the QR, but the money never came in.”
Upon hearing his story, the woman retorted that the students should be ashamed for taking advantage, citing that many taxi drivers are barely making ends meet nowadays.
