The first recorded case of its kind was located in Denmark and has been responsible for the outback across several states in California since May 2020, with its Covid-19 cases now reaches 3 million.

According to US-based virologist Dr. Charles Chiu, this variant in particular influences the spike protein of the virus, deeming any vaccines developed so far inefficient.
This recent development may sound alarming. However, if we all continue to collectively fight and adhere to SOPs, we may just find light amidst the chaos.
