In a press release earlier today, National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme (JKJAV) has announced that those who have recovered from Covid-19 will no longer endure a three-month waiting time to get their vaccination.
The latest evidence has suggested that due to the emergence of new variants, there is now a dire need to speed up the vaccination process in order to fight against it.
However, for the patients who have received Anti-SARS-CoV-2 Monoclonal Antibodies treatment, they are advised to wait for at least 90 days after recovery before getting vaccinated as a precautionary measure.
JKJAV also reminds the public to refrain from going to any vaccination centres if they are still awaiting Covid-19 tests to prevent the further spread of the virus, even though they have been called up. Those who are forced to cancel their appointment will be given a new date automatically.
