Rising South Korean actor Kim Seon Ho, acknowledges and apologizes on ongoing abortion rumours.
A couple days back, stories regarding the famous actor began to surface on social platforms, when an 'anonymous ex-girlfriend' broadcasted how the actor impregnated her, forced her into an abortion, promised to marry her and then backed out.
As variations of the story as well as assumptions began to float about, many turned to Kim Seon Ho and his agency Salt Entertainment, to clarify the controversy.
Issuing an initial statement yesterday, Salt explained how they were still verifying the facts of the problem, and investigating the matter at hand with all parties involved.
Despite the 'victim' stating that she had immeasurable amount of proof, his large fanbase patiently stood by him, determined on an official verdict.
Unfortunately taking a turn for the worse, today morning (20th Oct), Kim Seon Ho, neither confirming nor denying the accusations against him, issued an official apology statement, taking accountability of the hurt he had caused everyone.
Since his admittance, numerous brands have removed him from their socials, he has dropped out of his variety show 2 days 1 night Season 4, and have been announced for re-casting in two supposed upcoming movies, 2'O Clock Date and Dog Days.
The come-from-theatre actor captured the hearts of many, when he played second-lead character Han Ji Pyeong, on Netflix drama Start Up in 2020. His amazing skills and stellar good looks went ahead to score him the popularity award.
Hardly even a year later, he caught his big break alongside Hospital Playlist's Shin Min Ah, as main lead character Hong Du Sik in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha; final two episodes aired last weekend (16th & 17th Oct 2021).
