Despite the box office success of Mat Kilau: Kebangkitan Pahlawan, the hit film isn't exactly getting much love on Netflix.
The streaming giant had recently added the flick in conjunction with Malaysia Day (Sept. 16), but so far the ratings have been nothing but poor.
Reflecting on the audiences' reception, director Syamsul Yusof is apparently unfazed by the criticism. His response: "We will celebrate no matter if the comments are negative or positive."
Over on Twitter, several users have brazenly expressed their dissatisfaction over the action film's so-called hype. One even rated it 3/10.
