ICYMI: WATCH: Tony Fernandes Shared A Heartfelt Video On TikTok For His Daughter & AirAsia's Tony Fernandes Getting A Massage While In A Virtual Meeting Draws Mixed Reaction
A video of a man attempting to embarrass airport staff at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2) in Sepang on Friday has gone viral.
Initially, the man was displeased when he failed to board the plane as the gate closed 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
The viral recording showed the disgruntled passenger trying to upload two staff members' faces to criticise them, but the staff members remained unfazed and unashamed, reportedly following flight procedures.

"We arrived 10 minutes early, but the gate was already closed," said the customer in an angry tone, according to the video.
According to AirAsia's website, a person should check in for a flight one hour before departing from KLIA2.
Air Asia also emphasises that individuals will not be allowed to board the plane if they fail to be at the entrance 20 minutes before the departure time.
The man, who goes by the handle @pickyautan, admitted in the comment section that the gate was closed 22 minutes earlier, which was 12 minutes before he arrived at the departure hall.
"We helped a passenger locate their missing phone and the ground crew insisted on closing the gate even ten minutes before boarding (departure)," he said in the caption, as he is believed to have been confused with the meaning of "boarding" and "departure".
"A lot of us don't read the boarding pass, most of the time they look at the departure time, not the boarding time" @mikekon45 said, pointing out the confusion that might have happened.
"Gate closes 30 minutes to one hour before departure, If you haven't flown (before), aske people," @emmanueljoseph said.
Commenting on the crews' nonchalant attitude, @yushri said that the staff were relaxed because they know its standard operating procedure (SOP).
There is no official statement from AirAsia regarding the incident as of now.
