A couple in Kota Bharu, however, took it upon themselves in rescuing stray cats that were left stranded amidst the ongoing natural disaster.
Nurul Amirah recently posted a video of her husband wading the floodwater, and on his shoulder, a stray cat that he’s brought home to safety.
The couple has apparently rescued 12 cats in total, feeling sympathy over the sight of the helpless felines having nowhere to go.
Their honorable gesture has touched the hearts of many, and served as a reminder that all lives matter when it comes to a calamity like this.
