April 1 - Italy records lowest daily coronavirus infection since March 17

It is reported that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Italy has risen by just 4,050 yesterday (March 31), which is the lowest increment since March 17.
With this new figure reported, the total number of infections in Italy became 101,739. However, Italy's government said that the nationwide lockdown measures would be extended until the Easter season in April to curb the spread of the virus.
