While the police are working tirelessly day and night to help curb the spread of COVID-19 in our country, there are some irresponsible individuals who find it hilarious to prank these frontliners with the sound of a woman crying, and have unknowingly increased their burden.
It is reported that around 10:30 pm yesterday (May 2), 3 police officers and 2 RELAs who were manning roadblock near Tenom-Sipitang Road in Kota Kinabalu heard a woman’s mournful crying. However, the sound disappeared once they started to look for it.
District Police Chief, Deputy Superintendent Hassan Majid said the crying sound resembles the ‘Kuntilanak crying’ from YouTube, so it is believed that the sound was played from the video sharing site using a mobile phone by the prankster who was hiding nearby.
“Whether they’re trying to scare or prank others, the police will investigate,” he said.

Oh, seriously? Pranking the frontliners who stay at work while we comfortably stay at home? Is that even funny? What do you think?
