We must have tried sago dessert with fruits at lease once as a child. So why not we recreate our childhood taste with our own hands now? You may just follow this recipe and relive the nostalgic moments back in old days!
【Ingredients】
Watermelon
Pineapple
Cantaloupe
Dragon fruit
Melon
Whole milk
Sago
Honey (or white sugar)
**You may also use any other fruits that you like
【Directions】
1. In a pan, add sago into boiling water. Cook for 15 minutes until the sago is semi-translucent (with a white spot in the center). Remember to stir it occasionally to prevent the sago from sticking together.
2. Turn off heat and cover the pan, leave it for 5 minutes until the sago turns completely translucent. Drain and rinse the sago with running water, then set it aside.
3. Scoop out watermelon and make watermelon balls. Cut other fruits into small pieces and set all of them aside.
4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked sago, whole milk and some honey. Mix well.
5. Mix in all the fruits and gently toss to combine.
And there you go! The fruit bowl that you can call a really refreshing dessert. And it’s best served chilled~
