An individual from Myanmar has been caught following his attempt in smuggling smoked rodents into the country.
The 15KG worth of illegal goods were quickly discovered upon his arrival at KLIA on Monday by Customs and MAQIS, reportedly worth RM300.
According to the latter, importing animal products, particularly vermin, is strictly prohibited as it poses risk of infection and even food safety.
