Technically, all vegetables are healthy and if your corporate more vegetable into your diet, you’ll definitely see changes in your body, internally and externally. However, there are several vegetables that just contain more nutrients and do more good for your body. Here are some of the vegetables that you should be consuming more if you want to speed up your weight loss or just want to be healthier as a person.




1, Broccoli.

Broccoli is not exactly the favorite food for us as kids, but good thing though, many of us have grown to love it more and more. This vegetable is high in many nutrients, such as vitamin K, vitamin C, manganese and potassium and so on, all in just a little floret. Broccoli is also high in protein, being one of the highest protein vegetable, which makes them super great for weight loss. Although they are fairly higher in calories as compared to other vegetables, they tend to fill one up really quickly.

2, Spinach.

Similar to broccoli, spinach is also very high in protein in little amount, which explains why when “Popeye the Sailor Man” consume it, he gains muscle really quickly. Of course, that is just a cartoon, but it is also trying to show how much protein it contains. Aside from its never-ending list of health benefits, spinach also contains a substance that can help reduce cravings, which is great for people who are losing weight.

3, Cucumber.

Cucumber might look large in size and seem to contain lots of calories, they are actually the opposite. Cucumbers are actually made up of a large percentage of water, and together with its content of its flesh, there makes barely any room for it to contain carbs. This is the kind of vegetable where you can eat a whole lot and only very little calories.

4, Cauliflower.

Cauliflower is the white cousin of broccoli, and similar to that, it does contain a high amount of nutrients as well. Don’t be fooled by its color, cauliflower does contain a high amount of fiber, and since it is lower in density and carbs, that makes it a great health food where you can consume a whole lot and still only gain little calories. They are also great substitution to many types of carbs, such as white rice, mashed potatoes and so on.

5, Carrot.

Out of all these vegetables, carrots are perhaps the tastiest when eaten raw. Since carrots have their own natural “carroty” taste, it makes them a great food for people who are losing weight since you do not need to cook them, as they can be enjoyed raw. They are also very easy to prepare, great for lazy people. Carrots are high in beta-carotene (Vitamin A), Vitamin C and fiber, which is vital for our body to stay healthy. To top things off, carrots are also great for our eyes.

6, Asparagus.

六,芦笋。

If having high levels of vitamin A and C is not convincing enough for you, then please read on. These nutrients are great to treat stress in our body, which prevents fat from storing in your belly. This is why asparagus is great good food for weight loss. Aside from that, asparagus is also known to be excellent for our bladder by removing any toxins, which explains why after consuming them our urine would smell a little weird.

7, Celery.

Celery is like a distant cousin of cucumber. They share the same characteristics of containing a high percentage of water and flesh and very little carbs in them. Celery is also very high in fiber, which is great for your digestive system. If you do not mind the smell of it, they are actually great for consuming raw, due to their crispiness just like carrots.

8, Chilli.

It mustn’t be something new to you that consuming spicy food will aid in weight loss, and that is very true. This vegetable works slightly differently from those mentioned above. When one consumes chili, their body will heat up, causing the blood circulation to speed up, and so would your metabolism. When your metabolism is quicker, your body will burn fat at a faster rate, which is how this vegetable helps you burn more fat.

Sure there are still many vegetables out there that are excellent for weight loss, but these are just a few on the top of the list that works the most effectively.
