It has recently been announced that Malaysia has officially been appointed as the next host for the 34th South East Asian (SEA) Games that will be held in the coming five years!
The decision was unanimously agreed upon by the SEAGF council during their meeting that was held just prior to the 2021 SEA Games opening ceremony in Vietnam, where it is currently held.
Previously, Brunei Darussalam was originally chosen as the 2027 SEA Games host. However, they officially withdrew the tentative intention of hosting without stating any official reason. How excited are we, Malaysians? Share your thoughts in the comment section!
