When a social experiment goes right!
This Malaysian is spotted walking around the Bukit Bintang area asking passersby to purchase an apple he bought from Don Don Donki for only RM5.
After being turned down by two people, a man wearing a Machines lanyard just like the other two finally bought the apple.
To his great surprise, the man behind the camera told him that because he had bought the apple willingly, he would now be rewarded with a free Apple product of his choice.
When they entered the shop, the lucky man chose an iPad and explained that he had been saving up to buy one for months.
In the end, he hugged the man behind the camera and expressed his gratitude.
Netizens then took to Twitter to say that the video was staged and that the man behind the camera was only targeting people who work at Machines.
While we'd like to think it's a hoax, it's still a heartwarming moment to be happy about.
