Shared via the X platform by @MegatFirdauz, a parent was caught verbally abusing his children who appeared to be no older than 7 years old at the KL Gateway Mall parking lot.
The man was caught yelling profanities at his children, catching the attention of the people around him, especially Megat's as he feared for the kids' safety.
When the parent spotted the bystander's watchful eye, he approached him aggressively and threatened physical harm.
"I am very close to hitting you. You do not tell me what to do! How old are you, kid?", he yelled at OP.
As OP calmly handles the situation asking the parent to back off and get back in his car, he only gets even more mad.
At the back of the car, you can hear a woman asking the father to stop. This could be the man's wife.
The father then continues to threaten OP, claiming that he will hit him if he does not get back in his car.
He even goes to say that he will spend all day waiting here until OP gets back in the car.
Situation clearly out of control and only escalating, Megat begins to move towards his car.
@MegatFirdauz subsequently reported the incident to the police and authorities have confirmed that they are actively searching for the suspect involved.
Brickfields Police Chief, Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood, confirmed receiving a police report regarding this incident on Sunday and stated that the suspect would be called in for questioning, as reported by Free Malaysia Today.
