In a bizarre turn of events, a condominium resident took drastic action after repeatedly losing their ordered items by placing a "santau" (black magic spell) paper on their mailbox.
The incident came to light after X user @trinitytan84 shared a screenshot on Threads from her condo's Telegram group, showing a mailbox with a mysterious piece of paper believed to be a santau spell taped onto it.
"Woke up and saw this message in the condo Telegram group, it's intenseweve reached the point of using Siamese black magic," she wrote in her post.
"Don't you feel sorry for the thief? Stealing people's food and parcels every day, and the dumb management just sits back doing nothing."
The paper, containing Thai script, immediately caught attention for its eerie presence. The writing was later translated by a Threads user, @nabilahshamsul_, who consulted ChatGPT to decipher the message.
To everyone's shock, the translation revealed a chilling warning: "From now on, we will die together."
The haunting message suggests that the resident had reached their breaking point, frustrated by constant thefts and what they perceived as a lack of action from the building's management.
While it's unclear whether the paper truly contained a spell or was simply meant as a scare tactic, it certainly sparked concern and conversation among the online community and perhaps even sent a shiver down the spine of the would-be thief.
