A 4-year-old female Malayan tiger at the Bronx Zoo in New York City has tested positive for COVID-19. It is believed that the tiger is infected by a zoo employee who shows no symptoms of the virus.
Nadia the tiger, along with 3 other tigers and 3 lions, have developed dry cough before they were screened for COVID-19, but all the big cats are expected to recover, said the Wildlife Conservation Society, which manages the zoo, in a statement.
