How Each Blood Type Recovers From Heartbreak According to Japanese Researchers

Love can be beautiful, but it can also be torture, especially if you're going through one of love's worst stages - breaking up. People going through a bad breakup are usually in unbearable pain according to them, but they're not willing to just let the past go, especially all the good they've been through. The funny thing is, no matter how many relationships ended badly, we're not ready to give up on love yet.

Love is one of the hardest things to understand, trumping basic science, but we can at least try. Since different people have different reactions towards the end of a relationship, Japanese research center Off-Lab did a targeted study on 1800 females, aged between 20-69 years old, and came up with a conclusion about how the 4 different blood types react to and overcome heartbreak. If you're someone who is in a similar position, consider trying these methods:

#Blood Type A - The Stubborn Type

What's special about women with blood type A is their "stubbornness". Unwilling to bow to anyone or accepting defeat, they have a tendency to get very angry at a breakup. They will unconsciously follow up with their ex's life on social media, trying to see if their exes are as heartbroken as they are.

That said, type A women take relatively longer to get out of a heartbreak than women of other blood types. It is recommended to find something that can divert your attention so you do not fall into the hole of being stuck in an ended relationship.

#Blood Type B - The Distraction Type

Sort of the exact opposite of type A women, type B women will use a thousand different ways to stop themselves from thinking about the broken relationship. They place their full focus in work, exercising, or anything interesting that will take up all their free time.

Once that's done, they will pretty much not feel sad (although that doesn't mean they forget). In addition, type B women are more likely to get a reset and switch up how they dress and how they look.

#Blood Type O - The Venting Type

If you're the best friend of a type O women going through a breakup, be there for them. Type O women usually vent by expressing their feelings and thoughts to the people around them. They let out all their emotions instead of keeping it in, making sure they don't suppress anything and hurting themselves. Right after the breakup, they also tend to remove all things related to the last relationship just to prevent their feelings from being stirred up.

#Blood Type AB - The Reflection Type

When a type AB woman goes through a breakup, what they need most is time to themselves to calm down. Therefore, they have a tendency to "hide" in their homes or rooms and avoid socializing.

They will also take this opportunity to reflect on themselves and what caused the breakup. So, if you have a type AB friend, perhaps you're not doing them a favor by trying to comfort them. Instead, maybe it would be better to let them heal alone.

Of course, the researchers have agreed that different methods have different effectiveness on different women, but most women do agree on one thing: the best way of getting through a breakup is by sleeping, and the next best thing is to do something of interest. It seems like temporarily focusing on something else can effectively stop the sadness, as both of these come before talking to a friend.

Besides that, many of the women think travelling is an overrated cure. While travelling does help ease any emotions by removing oneself from where you were, but coming back usually just means the same feeling of emptiness.

Whatever it is, heartbreak can be a pain in the butt, but if you've found a way that suits you, then more power to that.
