Truly an unsung hero, 33-year-old Muhammad Shuhur Azizuddin had gone out of his ways to extend a helping hand towards Selangor's flood victims. What's even more inspiring is that he himself volunteered to spend three days in his old van just so he would be able to continuously contribute aids and flood relief supplies to the affected victims.
Speaking to mStar, he received a storm of personal messages from the public offering monetary assistance following his good deed, which he initially refused. However, as more people came forward to assist him financially, he had no choice but to accept the donation.
All in all, he had received a total of RM 4000 from the public, which was then used to purchase necessary supplies such as sanitary items, pillows, cleaning supplies, blankets, and other basic needs. Some of them even provided him extra money for fuel.
He then transported the supplies all the way from Ipoh to flood victims at the Sri Nanding area of Hulu Langat, not wasting another day. Even though his old van could barely withstand all the traveling, still he braced through the journey.
On behalf of Goody MY, we thank you, Shuhur Azizuddin, for your selfless act and your heart of gold. It's hard to come by nowadays.
