First it was the Lightyear movie... and now Thor: Love And Thunder could be facing the same fate.
GSC Cinemas, a malaysian cinema exhibitor just announced via their official Twitter that the release date of the movie Thor: Love and Thunder is to be announced at a later time. As of now, it remains uncertain the exact date of its premier... or if it will ever be played in Malaysian cinemas at all.
Here are the reactions of some Malaysians regarding the news:
I think safe to assume like BUZZ LIGHTYEAR, Thor Love and Thunder will not be shown in cinema because Disney refuse to cut scenes. Good on them. No to censorship https://t.co/BlgMHkUR0y

They're pushing more people to watch it through Disney+. They get higher cuts and they don't have to censor as much as going to the big screens. https://t.co/QlthRXKRJG

Whatever it is, Malaysian Marvel fans continue to anticipate the consensus of this censorship battle between Disney and the Malaysian censorship board. Who, in the end, will win?
