If you were in KLIA2, you most likely would have seen this elderly Malaysian woman peddling a trolley cart through the terminal selling packed meals.
While at the airport just now, ada Makcik ni datang tanya nak beli tak nasi rendang ayam, nasi minyak, ayam masak merah. Memula I macam takut la kan. Then after she walk away I nampak bakul hijau tu ada bekas bekas. So I pun panggil balik semula untuk beli. pic.twitter.com/4KGAdlBEmd

The user with the handle @izx2471 tweeted about her experience with the airport mak cik who asked if she wanted to buy her food.
She was first hesitant and responded with a no because it is understandable to be wary of strangers approaching you in an airport.
Nevertheless, when she noticed the mak cik walking away with a trolley cart full of packed meals, she decided to reach out to her again and decided to purchase two boxes of nasi ayam merah.
She even managed to begin a conversation with the mak cik, who revealed that she was selling her meals to raise money for cancer treatments.
As a result, the lady sympathised with her and decided to help her share her story so that anybody who came across her might support her food business.
Alhamdulillah, already bought 3 from her. Semoga urusan makcik tu dipermudahkan. Sesiapa nak no acc makcik tu dm I okies. Dia berniaga area klia,klia2 and mitsui pic.twitter.com/vobeYezv3F

Several others came forward after the tweet went viral to share their encounters with the mak cik and said that she frequently visits the Sepang area, travelling between KLIA, KLIA2, and the Mitsui Outlet Park.
Nonetheless, some commended the mak cik for not approaching customers to buy her food while exploiting her cancer to sell meals. Others even stated that they never really understood why she was selling her food there, believing it was simply a typical vendor thing to do.

Another individual mentioned seeing the mak cik at KL Sentral and striking up a conversation with her while riding the train. She inquired as to whether she lived alone and whether her children had grown up, and was told that she didn't have any children and that she lives alone.
That said, some are asking for her personal bank details in order to directly make donations.
This woman is obviously a strong-willed and tenacious person who is battling against all difficulties, despite her physical condition.
We hope she receives the care she requires soon and that this also proves once again how powerful the Twitter community is.
