Shocked to find a foreign object in his canned sardines, a customer in Thailand nearly swallowed a sharp fishhook that was still attached to the fish.
Luckily, he discovered the hook before it could cause any harm. The incident has caused quite a stir on social media, with many people questioning how such a dangerous object could have ended up in the can of sardines from a popular Thai brand.
A Facebook user who goes by the name of Phuboripok shared the story along with a photo of the fishhook.
In the post, Phuboripok said that the customer had written a brief message saying, "I don't forgive as this isn't 100% QC (quality control)."
This has raised concerns about the safety of canned fish products and the quality control measures in place to prevent foreign objects from being accidentally packaged with the fish.
