Engaging in a photo shoot at a cemetery is never a good thing, particularly as it is disrespectful to the deceased. But unfortunately, one Malaysian man has taken to TikTok to repeatedly face criticism for incorporating such locales into his "aesthetic," exhibiting a glaring lack of sensitivity and understanding.
The outcry against him reached a peak when he was exposed on Twitter for a cemetery photoshoot. The OP has urged those familiar with the cemetery's location to inform the affected families so they could consider legal action.
Despite facing widespread backlash, the man remained unapologetic, fueling the outrage further.
Some claim that even if he wanted to emulate artists who often incorporate such "aesthetics" into their "rock" lifestyle, he shouldn't have opted for this kind of setting which is disrespectful.
There's even an individual who claimed to know him who tried to apologize on his behalf, citing their failed attempts to advise him.
One of his Instagram posts featured an excerpt from a Batman comic book titled "The Blasphemy of Batman," where the DC hero was depicted observing a bloodied religious statue. This further stoked the criticism from people of various backgrounds who came together to condemn his actions.
As of now, the TikToker has deactivated both his Instagram and TikTok accounts, or he may have changed his social media handles. But official statements have yet to emerge from the police (PDRM) or the OP regarding this controversial issue.
