ICYMI: 2-Year-Old Stuck In Car At Bukit Bintang After Father Accidentally Left Keys Inside
Netizens were enthralled with a mother wearing a niqab as she ran side by side with her son at his school's cross-country competition.
The video clip, which was first published on the Viral Media Johor Facebook page and credited to Adam Hawa Butik, lasts 1.27 seconds and shows a lady identified only as Nur encouraging her son while they are navigating the course together.
Nur looked completely comfortable in her clothes despite the difficult terrain, exuding a degree of professionalism and comfort that astounded onlookers. Throughout the marathon, observers saw Nur maintain perfect form and show no symptoms of exhaustion or pain despite the niqab.
Nur's close relationship with the event coordinators suggested that she was actively involved in her son's school community.
Comments on Nur's amazing achievement were swamped with compliments from online users.
A Facebook user named Yang Dayang complimented her on her health and endurance, jokingly drawing a comparison with her own difficulties going to events of a similar nature.
"This mother is the finest, I must say - robust endurance, toned body. Despite my best efforts, I've ended up staying home to see my child's cross-country event multiple times. Not to mention unfit and lethargic, let alone considering running. I'm limited to sending prayers from my house. One day, I hope to go watch, huhu."
Others, such as Zairatul Aznil Alias, emphasised Nur's function as a mentor to her son, encouraging him to succeed by setting a great example.
Some were not surprised to see Nur at these kinds of gatherings. Izzy Al-Yahya, a commenter, remembered seeing her at earlier running competitions and remarked on her easygoing personality and remarkable speed, even with her headscarf on.
"She was parked next to my car when I saw her in Bandar Bukit Raja. She was wearing a niqab, but she ran so effortlessly and quickly. "Her car was adorned with stickers from every running event she had taken part in," the writer stated.
Wahab Saripan, meantime, remarked: "May Allah reward this family for their diligent effort... Ameen. It's rare to see... Still, this is one of the nicest things a mother can do for her kids. The road to teaching your children is still a long one, so keep up the difficult work."
