Local singer Ning Baizura has faced backlash for a comment she made about the situation in Rafah, which many netizens found insensitive. 

During an Instagram live session, a viewer commented "#AllEyesOnRafah." Ning responded with, "Who's that?" and laughed, prompting criticism from her audience. 

#AllEyesOnRafah is a trending hashtag aimed at raising public awareness about the Israel Occupation Forces' land invasion of Rafah, the last remaining "safe zone" for Palestinians seeking shelter from constant IOF aggression. 

Netizens criticized her for being unaware of the Palestinian genocide that has been ongoing for over seven months.

However, some defended her, arguing that not everyone is informed about the situation and suggesting that she should be educated instead.

Her controversial response has since sparked mixed reactions.
