Police are looking into the case of a nurse who was discovered unconscious by the roadside in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan, last night.
According to Free Malaysia Today, when she was discovered on Jalan Simpang Tiga Dangi in Johol, she was suspected to have suffered a head injury.
The Kuala Pilah deputy police chief Syahrul Anuar Abdul Wahab said the woman was discovered with her shoes removed outside her car at 10 p.m., with the engine still running.
"Members of the public discovered her unconscious and suspected she had been robbed."
"The victim was brought to Tuanku Ampuan Najihah Hospital for further treatment," the official stated.
Syahrul stated that the victim was on her way home from work at the hospital and was heading towards Dangi.
"We are currently in the process of obtaining her statement.
"According to her original statement, she was not robbed, but rather smacked on the head. "None of her personal items were missing," he stated.
Syahrul stated that the case is being probed under Section 324 of the Penal Code for intentionally causing harm with a dangerous weapon or method.
