The Ex5 event is one of the most anticipated drag races of the year, only for it to be met with a shocking circumstance.
Held at the Litar Gong Badak in Terengganu, the event was flocked by eager spectators from all over the country.
Unfortunately, it quickly came to an end after a fellow spectator- believed to be an elderly man with special needs- had abruptly crossed the track while the jockeys were racing, whereby one was unable to avoid him.
As paramedics arrived to the scene, witnesses reported that the said man had suffered a broken foot, while the latter a broken arm.
It’s unknown how no one was able to spot or stop him prior to the incident, but many are hoping that the event don’t get cancelled in the future.
