A woman has been apprehended for allegedly stealing a handbag at a supermarket in Bandar Mahkota, Klang, after her actions were recorded on CCTV.
The incident occurred in a local grocery store, where the suspect was seen acting as a shopper before targeting a handbag left hanging on a shopping cart.
The victim later shared the CCTV footage on TikTok, revealing that the stolen handbag contained approximately RM40 in cash, a mobile phone, and several bank cards.
In the video, the suspect, who was wearing a headscarf and mask, appeared to be carefully observing her surroundings. She then discreetly grabbed the handbag and concealed it in a black bag before leaving the scene.
Authorities confirmed the arrest and are continuing their investigation into the case.
