Kuala Lumpur: A health center in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman (TAR) here, got busted for hiding a brothel behind the façade of being a place providing health services for the public.
Since the brothel is also a health center, hopefully the clients and workers of the brothel get free checkups for sexually transmitted diseases, that may make a feel a little better about the whole situation.
The Criminal Investigation Division of Vice, Gambling and Conspiracy (D7), Kuala Lumpur Contingent Police Headquarters (IPK) raided the premises at about 7 last night under their Ops Noda operation.
Head of the Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Senior Assistant Commissioner Habibi Majinji said, a total of six local women suspected of being prostitutes were arrested.
"Police also arrested three local men who claimed to be the caretakers of the premises.
"The inspection then confiscated various condoms, work schedules, towels, massage oil and cash amounting to RM2,035," he said in a statement today.
He said all the detainees were taken to IPK Kuala Lumpur for further investigation.
He said further investigations were being carried out and the case was being investigated under Section 373 and 372B of the Penal Code.
