Last night, a storm caused Queensbay Malls roof to leak heavily with rain, a part of the ceiling collapsed in front of startled shoppers.
Rain poured onto the mall's top floor, which eventually gave way under the weight of the water, resulting in the collapse of the mall's ceiling.
As of right now, we are aware that nobody was standing underneath the affected part of the ceiling, and no injuries have been reported.
The mall management staff were seen clearing out the water off the floor after a small flood was caused by the rainwater.
