A man's body was discovered floating in a lake in Kota Kemuning, Section 31, on Wednesday morning (Oct 9), authorities confirmed. The Shah Alam police were alerted to the grim discovery at 7.39 am, according to Shah Alam District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim.
According to The Star, the deceased, who is believed to be a foreign national, was found fully clothed and lying on his back, but no identification documents were recovered at the scene.
"There were no visible signs of struggle or injuries on the body," said Mohd Iqbal in a statement. The victim's body has since been transferred to Shah Alam Hospital, where a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
