Body Of Foreign Man Found Floating In Kota Kemuning Lake, Police Investigating Sudden Death

A man's body was discovered floating in a lake in Kota Kemuning, Section 31, on Wednesday morning (Oct 9), authorities confirmed. The Shah Alam police were alerted to the grim discovery at 7.39 am, according to Shah Alam District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim.

According to The Star, the deceased, who is believed to be a foreign national, was found fully clothed and lying on his back, but no identification documents were recovered at the scene.


"There were no visible signs of struggle or injuries on the body," said Mohd Iqbal in a statement. The victim's body has since been transferred to Shah Alam Hospital, where a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.


The case has been classified as a sudden death. The police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist in the investigation. Those with relevant details can contact the investigating officer, Inspector Mohd Shahrul Bakhri, at 012-3630512.
