In a heartwarming story from Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, a dog named Baew has captured the hearts of many after reuniting with her owners following a remarkable 51-day absence. The touching homecoming was shared on social media by her owner, Niraya Wilje, who expressed her deep joy and relief at Baew's return.
Baew's disappearance began on August 13, when Niraya took her to a veterinary hospital for a routine blood test. Since the hospital was located in downtown Nakhon Ratchasima, Niraya decided to leave Baew at her sister's house in the nearby Hua Thale Sub-District for convenience. However, the next day, Baew mysteriously went missing.
Determined to find their beloved pet, the family launched an extensive search. They put up posters across the area and even offered a 3,000 baht (approximately RM390) reward for any information that could help locate Baew. Despite their efforts, weeks passed without any leads, and hope began to dwindle.
To the family's astonishment, Baew reappeared at their home on October 3, around 7 PM, nearly two months after she had gone missing. Niraya shared her disbelief and amazement, wondering how Baew could have found her way back from such a great distance. The dog had managed to return from her sister's house, which was an impressive 72 kilometers away.
Baew has been a cherished part of Nirayas's family since she was a puppy, and her return was nothing short of a miracle for them. This incredible story has touched many hearts, celebrating the bond between a pet and its owners and Baew's remarkable journey back home.
