Apple has introduced its latest iPad lineup, bringing new size options for the iPad Air and boosting the standard iPad with improved performance and increased storage. However, those hoping for an M4 MacBook Air announcement will have to wait a little longer.
iPad Air Now Available in Two Sizes
The iPad Air now comes in 11-inch and 13-inch variants, giving users more flexibility in choosing their ideal screen size. Along with this update, Apple has introduced four colors: blue, purple, starlight, and space grey.
Pricing for the 11-inch model starts at RM2,799, while the 13-inch version begins at RM3,699. Storage options range from 128GB to 1TB. For those who need cellular connectivity, prices go up to RM3,499 for the 11-inch and RM4,399 for the 13-inch.
A More Powerful Standard iPad
Apple has also given the entry-level iPad a performance boost with the A16 Bionic chip. In addition, the base model now comes with 128GB of storage, twice as much as the previous version.
The WiFi-only model starts at RM1,599, while the WiFi + Cellular variant costs RM2,299. It is available in three storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, and comes in blue, pink, yellow, and silver.
New Magic Keyboard Joins the Lineup
To complement the new iPads, Apple is also introducing a redesigned Magic Keyboard. The 11-inch version is priced at RM1,299, while the 13-inch model costs RM1,399. However, the keyboard is available in only one color white.
Pre-Orders Open, But No Sign of the M4 MacBook Air
All these new devices are available for pre-order now, with official sales starting on 12 March.
One notable absence from the launch event was the rumored M4 MacBook Air. While Apple has yet to reveal details about its next-generation MacBook, history suggests the company may have more surprises in store soon.
