Yesterday (17 March 2020) a video went viral about the traffic on the North-South highway.
One netizen slowed down his car while driving past the traffic from the opposite direction to film the scene. The video showed the congested traffic from the Sungai Buloh Highway to Ipoh right before the restricted movement order started to take effect.
This netizen can be heard saying that now is not the time for "Cuti-Cuti Malaysia" and travelers should follow the instructions given by the government to stay at home, instead of traveling or going back to their hometown to control and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
