Cute Jar Décor | How To Preserve Your Dried Bouquet From Bae
Who doesn't adore a partner that gives you flowers on a random day for no reason at all? I mean, that's a keeper!
Too bad, the flowers aren't something you can keep forever, even if you wish you could. Lucky for you, there is a cool DIY trick to store the dried flowers just for a little longer. Hey, at least you'll get to gaze at them & think of bae for some more time.
It's a quaint decoration for your space & super easy to make.
Things you'll need:
- A pair of scissors
- A traditional mason jar
- A cheap, generic hairspray
- Dried flowers
Steps:
1- Make sure the flowers have dried out at least for three weeks before preserving them.
2- About 2 weeks into the drying process, spritz the flowers with some hairspray to better
preserve them.
3- Cut up your flowers accordingly. Trim the stems at different lengths for more variation.
4- Spritz the flowers with a final coat of hairspray.
5- Let them dry for a few minutes.
6- Start stuffing the flowers & stem bits into the jar using your own creativity. Or, you can just fill up the spaces without making them look too cramped.
7- Seal your jar & decorate the exterior if you like. You may use twine, ribbon, or any other craft material to spruce things up. And, voila, you're done!
With just a little effort, you can preserve the fondest memory of your lover!
