A 13-year-old boy was found dead in his bedroom yesterday (May 6) morning. He was believed to have died in his bed while sleeping.
The deceased was found unresponsive by his father when he wanted to wake him up around 11 am yesterday.
According to the devastated parents, the teenager stayed up late at the previous night, and they thought he was just sleeping past his usual waking time.
When the father finally decided to wake him up, he discovered that the teenager was already lifeless.
It is learnt that the boy had not suffered from any illness, but he did mention that he had a headache a few days earlier.
The family called the police and the Sibu Hospital after they found him unresponsive. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the boy dead. His body was sent to the hospital for post-mortem.
