Good news!

Travelling interstate and overseas may be allowed again soon, but only for those who have received both doses of COVID-19 vaccination, says Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.

When asked about vaccination at a press conference held at Borneo Convention Centre yesterday, He further explained, "There were earlier views that those who have been vaccinated may be protected from infection but could be a potential carrier of the virus. But now, it has been found that this is not true." (source: The Star)

The particular matter has in fact been brought to discussion during the NSC (National Security Council) meeting and if such is the case, those who have fully vaccinated will no longer bear any restrictions from travelling interstate and overseas.

The PM also mentioned that the government has "started talks with several countries to allow our citizens who have received two doses with the certificate to travel," (source: The Star) and that "In addition, with the certificate, they are able to travel to Japan, Shanghai (China), Hong Kong or Jakarta (Indonesia),". At last, we're starting to see a glimpse of hope! Fingers crossed all will unfold as planned.
