First European-Themed Escape Park To Open In Pahang And People Aren‘t Too Happy About It
Pahang, the land rich in flora and fauna, has announced its newest tourist attraction— the first ever
European-themed escape park located in Cameron Highlands, which is set to be open to the public in 2023.
What you can expect to find in this theme park:
• 1.2km slope with a 920m high ski lift
• Escape Gravity play slides and attractions
• Street bowling, and more
The Cameron Highlands' European-themed escape park is an eco-friendly theme park and is said to fully operate on renewable energy. As for the development, it will take around 15 to 18 months for the park to be completely built, and the public can expect to start seeing it in person in the first half of 2023.
As exciting as it is for the country's tourism industry, most Malaysians don't seem to resonate with the idea of cancelling out such a vast chunk of nature in place of theme parks.
What do you think of this newest development by the state of Pahang? Will turning Pahang into a concrete tourist-magnet of a jungle prove beneficial in the long run?
