PETALING JAYA – An elderly man did not have a good day when he suddenly fainted on a overhead bridge and woke up to his find his belongings had been stolen.
The heartbreaking incident was shared by a Facebook page user known as Faz Mar who is also a delivery rider. According to Far Maz, he found the elderly man unconscious on the bridge when he finished sending orders around the area.
When he reached the top of the bridge, he saw the elderly man sitting on the ground and his motorbike had fallen.
So, the rider asked him what had happened, and the elderly man said he fainted, and his bag was taken by 2 men. He thought they were going to help him but instead they stole from him.
Faz Maz added that the thieves were on a Yamaha 135LC bike according to the elderly man.
He also added a message to the thieves asking them to return the man’s bag.
The post later went viral, and netizens were not happy with the thieves’ actions and said they were inhumane. Many even asked the thieves to imagine if the old man was their own father, how they they feel in that situation.
When it comes to situations like this, it is always better to be kind rather than cruel. Don't take advantage of people who are in need of help, instead just be kind.
Kudos to Far Maz for stopping and helping the elderly man and for telling his story. Hopefully the thieves come forward and do the right thing.
