Based on announcements, we're getting a Frozen 3 and we even have a time frame of when!
The third installation of the animated franchise will see the big screens on Thanksgiving of 2027--24 November.
Both of the first two Frozen movies were also released around Turkey Day, and became back-to-back $1 billion blockbusters.
The original Frozen became a massive sensation in 2013, generating nearly $1.3 billion worldwide and winning awards, including two Oscars.
Then the 2019 sequel garnered $1.45 billion and, until recently, stood as the highest-grossing animated film in history (The Lion King remake now stands at #1).
Disney's CEO Bob Iger revealed in 2023 that the studio is already working on a 4th Frozen installment.
"Frozen 3 is in the works, and there might be a Frozen 4 in the works too, he said last year. But I don't have much to say about those films right now", said the director.
The Frozen franchise tells the adventures of royal sisters Anna and Elsa (voiced by Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel) of Arendelle and a funny snowman.
